Bowora vs MicroLaunch

Bowora vs MicroLaunch

Today I tested MicroLaunch by launching Bowora there. It is a great product and easy to use. Its Domain Rating at the time of this post is 58. Bowora recently reached 42.

The process is simple, but I think they deliberately make it harder to find the free launch option so users upgrade. One thing is for sure: these services cannot operate for free unless they get money from somewhere else.

Product Hunt is free and makes money from advertising. For smaller launch platforms, it is very difficult to generate ad revenue. Therefore, they aim to cover their costs through one-time payments or subscriptions.

The value they deliver is also great. All startups need early customers and backlinks. You can get a few users per day from a one-time submission on these platforms.

Pricing on MicroLaunch is straightforward. They charge $49 per submission as a one-time payment. The founder, Said Ait Mbarek, is quite active on X and Reddit, inviting people to launch their products.

Compared to Bowora, we also have a free plan if users add our badge to their homepage, or pay $1 at the time of this post to launch.

We also offer a yearly subscription, which at the time of this post is $5 per year. You can launch all your products and get a verification badge.

On Bowora, you can also list your product for sale. At the moment, we do not charge commission on sales.
