50 Skills Every Startup Founder Should Know

Over time, I have seen many people leave their jobs or university to become entrepreneurs and start their own business. Sometimes things look great from the outside, but once you are inside, you realize it is not what you expected, or it is just not for you.

Being a startup founder is one of those paths. It is better to really understand what you are signing up for before you quit your job.

At Bowora, we created a document with 50 founder skills. It is not a “perfect founder” checklist. Not every founder has all of these skills, but the more you build, the easier the journey gets.

The skills are grouped into clear categories like mindset, communication, leadership, execution, and modern skills. This is not just another generic list, it is meant to feel practical and real.
