Startup Profile Checklist for Bowora
A complete Bowora profile is easier to trust and easier to rank for attention. Use this checklist before you publish or before you share the page for reviews—strong listings explain the product clearly, show who is building it, and avoid vague claims.
Reviewed against the current Bowora product flow. Updated August 8, 2026.
Fields to complete
- Startup name, working website URL, category, and a specific tagline.
- Short description in plain language (what it does, who it is for, outcome).
- High-resolution square logo and a clear ~1200×630 thumbnail.
- Product screenshots or a demo that shows the product in use.
- App store and social links when they exist and open correctly.
- Optional company details: year founded, team size, investment stage, funding history.
- Founder profile: photo, name, tagline, and relevant X / LinkedIn links.
- Listing type: Growing, Open to offers, or Fundraising (with verification when required).
Good vs weak profile examples
- Good tagline: “Invoice reminders for freelancers who get paid late.” Weak: “AI-powered synergy platform for the future of work.”
- Good description: names the user, the pain, and the result in a few sentences. Weak: buzzwords, competitor bashing, or copied homepage fluff.
- Good screenshots: real UI with readable text on mobile. Weak: logo-only graphics, dark unreadable crops, or stock photos of handshakes.
- Good stage label: matches how you actually funded (for example Bootstrapped or Seed). Weak: inflated stage that contradicts the rest of the page.
- Good reviews: honest notes from people who used the product. Weak: empty star farms or identical praise from accounts with no context.
- Good founder section: clear photo, role, and professional links. Weak: no founders shown when trust matters, or placeholder avatars.
Screenshots, stage, and reviews
Screenshots should teach the product in three glances. Stage should match your funding story so buyers and partners are not surprised later. Reviews should come from real users after you share the public URL—reply to useful criticism instead of chasing vanity volume.
- Add at least a few screenshots that show core workflows.
- Set investment stage accurately in company details when enabled.
- Share the public page with people who already know the product.
- Ask for honest stars and written reviews, not scripted quotes.
Publish and keep it current
When the checklist is done, preview the public page, fix broken links, then publish from onboarding. Revisit the listing when pricing, positioning, stage, or screenshots change—stale profiles convert worse than incomplete ones you never shared.

Common questions
- What is the minimum for a credible Bowora profile?
- A working site URL, clear tagline and description, logo and thumbnail, at least some product visuals, and accurate category. Founder details and reviews make it stronger.
- Do I need a founder profile on every listing?
- Showing founders is enabled by default and usually helps trust, but you can turn it off for a company-only listing when privacy or policy requires it.
- Should I verify revenue before publishing?
- Only if you want the MRR Board signal or you chose Open to offers or Fundraising, which require verification. Growing listings can publish first and verify later.
- How many screenshots should I add?
- Enough to show the core workflow without clutter—typically several clear UI shots beat one decorative banner.
- Where do I start if I have not listed yet?
- Open /onboarding, follow the submission steps, and use this checklist against the preview before you publish.
