What is Revenue Verification?
Revenue verification connects a supported billing provider so Bowora can confirm aggregate subscription revenue—useful when you need to prove SaaS MRR without sharing your bank or customer inbox.
Reviewed against the current Bowora product flow. Updated August 4, 2026.
What Bowora reads
- Aggregate subscription totals needed to calculate recurring revenue.
- The provider used for verification.
- The date the revenue was last verified.
What Bowora does not need
The connection is designed for read-only revenue access. Bowora does not need permission to create charges, issue refunds, change subscriptions, or read customer messages. Never submit a key with broader access than the provider instructions request.
When it is required
- Growing: optional. Verify to earn a badge and join the MRR Board.
- Open to offers: required to join the acquisition list and MRR Board.
- Fundraising: required to join the fundraising list and MRR Board.
Supported providers
The current submission flow lists Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, and Polar. Provider availability can change, so use the options shown in your dashboard.
Proving MRR without sharing bank access
Investors and buyers often ask for proof of recurring revenue. A scoped billing connection answers that request without giving write access, bank login credentials, or customer-level records.
Share the public verified figure first. Keep detailed cohort exports, tax statements, and bank reconciliations for qualified diligence after interest is real.
